Subject:SF11 Crashes - Went back to SF10, now that crashes

Here's my system: Windows Version:7 64-bit RAM:16.0 GB Processor:Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770K CPU @ 3.50GHz Video Card:AMD Radeon HD 7800 Series Sound Card:Delta AP192 SF10 was running fine. Thought it was time to install my SF11 upgrade. Big mistake. Was able to register and then got an error pointing to sfppack3.dll with SF11. Uninstalled, deleted prog dirs, removed registry entires, reinstalled, same thing. Uninstalled and reinstalled sf10, nope - no errors, just hangs after workspace appears. What in the world could the SF11 installation have done to now make SF10 not work? Can anyone help? I've searched here and can't find a fix.... Message last edited on1/3/2014 6:38:26 PM bymoonloop. |

You could try uninstalling using the (free) version of 'Revo Uninstaller'... using advanced mode. Then run an additional registry cleaner utility for good measure. Then reinstall. I did a restore to before the sf11 install. What's interesting is not only did sf11 crash but when removed sf11 and put sf10 back on my system even that wouldn't work. |
