Subject:Tinny sound, improve it?

I'm getting the material off of a portable mini disc recorder. It sounds good on the speakers, but the sound that gets recorded is a bit tinny. It's better when I cut the high frequencies with the equalizer, but any suggestions to improve it?

I can't help you directly, but the tinny problem has been adressed before.
Clic on "Search" above and enter a search for tinny in the Sound Forge family.
Maybe that'll help you.
