I'm currently in Brazil and just got my laptop connected on the internet long enough to drop in and visit the forum. I'm sorry I missed this one from the first post. My answer: Sure you can remove vocals from a Wave file. Just like I have finally figured out how to remove clothing using my special "garment remover" plugin during editing video. Brittany Spears never looked so good. Just read through the entire help file of Sound Forge, save up about $100 and buy yourself a clue, and with a whole lot of practice you will master the art of vocal removal and be able to sit home practicing singing to your favorite Backstreet Boys CDs and you could eventually be the 6th member.
