What sort of compression are you looking for? Sound Forge saves in a number of compresses formats, including WMA (Windows Media Audio), RM (RealMedia), MP3, and others. Each is configurable with a vast array of quality & bitrate settings. You can even reduce bid depth and sample rate of WAV files if you want to save in that format. |

I have Sound Forge XP 4.5. I meant like a compressor effect, to smooth out the sound level. |
