Subject:Keyboard connection

I have acid Pro 7
I am trying to connect a keyboard (Korg X5) for recording.
I am aware that the keyboard connection may be the problem (MIDI connection through an M- Audio MIDIsport)
Is there anything I can do in ACID to recognise the keyboard?

Do you want to use the X5 as a MIDI controller?

Korg mentions in this PDF on how to connect the X5 to a PC (around p. 9), however, this document is pretty old in Internet terms. It may help though.

Go to the Options menu, then preferences, then select the midi tab, make sure that the midi input and output are selected
