Personally, if i were you (and in a sense i am since i just completed a project of converting a few LPs to CD), go ahead and use Sound Forge to record, split the recording up into regions for each track, and save the regions as separate .wav files (all very simple and straightforward mouse clicks). At this point i would simply use the CD burning software that came with your CD writer to create an audio CD from these .wav files. My drive came with Roxio Easy CD Creator 4. I select Audio for the type of CD, drag the .wav files from the explorer window into the CD content window, and click the Make CD button. That's about as easy and simple as you can get. |
