Is it possible to change the tempo seperatley within each region drawn in Acid 3.0? In other words I want to have seperate tempo levels for two different wavs. How is this done?

No. Tempo is a time-line property that effects all tracks. It is not a "track" or "event in a track property.

Q: Why would you want events - what you call regions - to play at different tempos at the same time?

It strikes me that what is trying to be accomplished here is to change
the tempo (for all tracks) partway through the song. This isn't an odd
thing to do at all.

Well it didn't sound like that was what was being asked.

Changing the tempo accross all tracks is easy. Just drop a tempo marker. It is also kind of one of the main features of ACID....

Are you asking if you can change the tempo for one track to be different from the rest of the project (for example)?

Try double-clicking the track's track icon in the track list and, under the "Stretch" tab, adjust the "Number of beats" setting. Halve it to increase the tempo. Double it to decrease the tempo.

Want to create two different tempos of the same track? Duplicate the original track (right-click the track icon and choose, "Duplicate Track") and adjust the new duplicated track as necessary.

HTH,
Iacobus
