Hi, I am having a problem finding the above plugin in SF. I've downloaded it using the recent update (and a prior update too) but don't seem to be able to install it. Any ideas/help appreciated! Thx, LRH |

Go to View/Plugin Chain. Then click the green Add Plugins to Chain button on the top right of the panel. You should see it in your list of plugins if you've selected the All folder. |

It should be in your documentation, along with the serial number for Sound Forge. |

I also need to know where the serial number for the iZotope plug in is found. What documentation is being referenced re: the serial number? It isn't the serial number for Sound Forge and my original install CD's and docs are in a storage unit at this time. Besides, this is a new plug in for the product is it not? I purchased the Vegas HD Movie Studio 10.0 3 years ago and Sound Forge was included it the package and I don't recall it as included then. |

Just to add to this, I've had the same experience and have contacted support at both iZotope and Sony. The former says it's a Sony issue, and they refuse to supply a serial number. Sony says that this plug is not advertised as part of Sound Forge Studio in the bundled (Movie Studio Platinum 12 Suite) version, and so they will not supply a serial number either. Note that the installer is included in the downloads section of my account after purchasing the suite, so I inferred (as you all did) that it is a legitimate component of the suite. Incidentally, if you ignore the activation prompt, the plug still appears functional, though the prompt reappears periodically. And who knows how long it will function at all. This sort of legerdemain is not what I'd have expected for a product with the Sony name on it. -Ron EDIT - After complaint to Sony, they reveal that an upgrade to the "full retail version of Sound Forge Studio" is available by download for $10. They supply a link for purchase. Turns out, all you get is a serial number that permits you to activate the audio enhancer, which, as stated above, you've already installed because the installer was one of the downloads in your account. There's no disclaimer in the account that says "this plug can not be activated unless you spend extra to purchase its serial number." Not cool Sony! How do I find the izotope Audio Enhancer that came with my Movie studio suite? Your instructions are clear, but there isn't a "Plugin Chain" from the "View" tab. The Vocal Eraser is easy to find under "Tools." Opened, added the SN and "good to go!" But the Audio Enhancer? You've got me stumped. Also looked in FX Favorites, Options, and Effects, ... NOTHING! It shouldn't be this hard. Message last edited on5/18/2014 1:51:18 PM bystrz_grant. |

The plug-in chainer is not included with Sound Forge Audio Studio.... if that's what you have. Howvver it should be available in 'FX favorites> Organize', if Audio Studio has that menu. |
