I am trying to record a midi track from my Boss DR-770 drum machine. Everytime I try my Acid Pro 3.0 crashes and throws me back to the desktop. The only reason I purchased was to be able to record some midi - anyone please help./

What MIDI hardware (input/output) devices do you have in your computer?
What version of Windows?
How is the BOSS connected to the computer?

Here's more on my setup.

I have a Intel P3-933Mhz system with 512MB RAM running on Win98 Second Edition. My sound card system is the SoundBlaster 5.1 Platinum Card with the Live Drive II Bay on the front of the PC (it has the Midi and Audio input / ouputs).

My DR-770 drum machine is simply plugged into the correct MIDI In,etc.

As I noted in first post as soon as I start a MIDI track and try to start the drum machine, the Acid Pro 3.0 crashes to desktop.

Now I am pretty sure I have the correct setup in both the drum machine AND the Acid program. But any suggestions at this point are greatly appreciated.
