Subject:Remember last setting?

Couldn't find a batch processor so in order to change 39 files from 24/96 to 16/44 I 'saved as' each one individually. SF would not remember the last "save as" setting so each time I had to change the setting to 16/44.
Am I missing a setting perhaps? I must be since this is a pro app.
Anyone?
