Subject:SF for Mac

I really wanted to buy this piece of software for the Mac as I have been a long time user of Sound Forge and Vegas in the Windows world. I have downloaded the demo of SF and have found that it will play back MP3's beautifully, but will stutter when I try to playback WAV files. I think I will now wait a few years and revisit this forum to see when things get better. What a shame as this software on a Windows machine is truly sublime.

No it works fine with .wav files and all other format listed in sound forge Supported file formats.
Something els must be wrong with your files/mac.

I have no problem using WAV files with Sound Forge for Mac either. There may be something specific to the files you are using or your Mac.

BTW, WAV is the native audio format for Windows. Mac users would have created AIFF files which are the native audio format for Mac (but WAV plays and edits fine too).
