Need help on audio routing ... -ACID Product Family

Subject:Need help on audio routing ... Posted by: ClipMan Date:10/31/2013 6:55:36 PM Hi, I'm preparing to record vocals for the first time. I've got a headphone plugged into outputs 3/4 on a Roland UA1610 interface. Monitor/speakers are on outputs 1/2. Mic is on input 1. I got a bus with background track sends (Pre) going out to 3/4 and all is good. I inserted a new track to record the vocal to the Master and added a send to the bus going out to 3/4 so the singer could hear herself along with the backtrack but she can't hear her voice. The audio signal coming from the mic is good. What am I doing wrong? TIA for any assistance. Brian

Figured it out. I had to stop fighting Roland signal path and use it. I NEVER want to be an audio engineer.
