Vegas 12.0 Preferences won't load?

Hi,

Every time I start up Vegas 12 everything is reset--window layouts, timeline, any MRU projects are wiped, etc. I've checked the registry and everything is getting stored (HKCU/Software/Sony Creative Software/Vegas/12.0/Application/Metrics), but what would cause Vegas to not load anything? I've tried a complete uninstall/reinstall, no dice. Any help is appreciated!

Do you have administrator rights? Try right click and "run as administrator".

Yup, tried that too and didn't help. It has been working just fine in the past and as of last week it stopped. For the life of me I can't think of anything I did to the computer that would have changed that.

Try launching the program and holding down the left side Ctrl+Alt+Shift keys as it starts up. When the option to clear the preferences and cache data appears, click Yes.
