Hi,

If I record a mono track in Sound Forge, save it as an MP3, it will change it into a stereo track. Is there a way to keep it mono? Thanks!

Did you customize the Save As Template for Mono stereo encoding?

Are you saying that fixed it -- or that it still produces a stereo file?

BTW, you do know that, even if you save a mono audio file, you will get audio out of both the right and left channel, right? The difference is that, in a mono file, both the right and left channels are identical.
