Subject:Unwanted Windows Help Popups

In Sound forge 8.0b Build 110, every time I use audio restoration or equalizer features, a pesky Windows 7 Help screen pops up. How can I stop that from happening?

I get the same thing in Sound Forge Audio Studio 9.0, Vegas 6 and Adobe Audition 3.0
It only happens when I use the Sony plugins in any of the above programs so I would think it would be a preference setting. But....I can't find it.
I've tried compatibility settings when running the programs but no love there.

Someone got any ideas?

None of those programs are certified for Windows 8. If you're using Windows 7, try this:

Looks like it might work for Windows 8 as well.

If you are reading this thread. DO NOT UPGRADE TO WINDOWS 8.1 if you are having the problem listed in this thread. I had the issue fixed with the help Kryten's microsoft link. Updating to WIndows 8.1 brought the problem back again and now the fix tool from the link does not work with 8.1
Looks like a reset to windows 8 is the fix having to reinstall all your software again!!! Microsoft SUCKS.
