Subject:SF 11 plugin chain window changes?

I just upgraded to SF 11 and I noticed that the plugin chain windows has changed to a vertical list with external plugin display windows instead of the horizontal list with the plugin's display embedded in the chainer window. Is there any documentation about these changes and is it possible to revert back to the older version of the display? |

There's a colorful acronym for this, but I digress... Try selecting "Help->Contents and Index->What's New In Sound Forge->Improved Plug-In Chain window now allows floating plug-in windows". If you don't need or used automation, you can just apply chains like other effects (with the single-dialog style UI) via FX Favorites->Apply Plug-In Chain. J. |

Thanks for reply J. I'm getting accustomed to the new changes now. Sometimes when a new version changes the interface so drastically you wonder if you're in the wrong part of the program ;-) |

FX Favorites->Apply Plug-In Chain is not the same workflow. Being able to invoke the chain with a button makes iteration easy. Having to navigate the menu to get the button is clumsy at best and does not take advantage of the new more sophisticated plug-in setup. |
