Subject:Region list time truncation

I've noticed that, although the region list in Sound Forge displays time data to a thousandth of a second, an exported region list (e.g., as a .txt or .edl file) truncates to the tenth place. So, for example: if a region had a start time of 00:00:06:30.389 in the region list, that same region would have a start time of 00:00:06:30.3 in the exported region table/ text file. Is there any way to correct or change this resolution disparity? Of course, a native solution within Sound Forge would be ideal, but I'm open to external solutions or scripts as well. (I'm aware that the "Copy to Clipboard" option provides the more precise time values, but I'm trying to avoid editing the exported list at all, if possible.) |

We added the ability to export a sample-accurate, tab-delimited text file of the regions list in SF11 to allow for just this sort of thing. You can find it via Edit -> Regions List -> Save As, under the save option of "Text File (Tab delimited) (*.txt)". Message last edited on9/25/2013 4:14:13 PM bySonySQAPete. |
