Is SpectraLayers available as a native x64 application on Win7? Or is it a 32 bit app only for Win? |

I do not think you understand what 32/64 bits means, which has nothing to do with being "native" or "Win7". MOST software is 32-bits (everything in your c:\Program Files (x86) directory). Windows 7 itself can be 32 or 64 bits. You must have a 64 bit CPU and operating system to run 64 bit software, but the advantage of 64 bits is very, very slight except for the most computationally intensive or memory hungry applications. SL is 32 bits (for now). Don't worry about it. You're not missing anything. Message last edited on9/10/2013 3:23:43 AM byKevin R. |

can i say though this is talking about the sister application sound forge pro - SF kept crashing using w7 on my imac. But went 64 bit on win 7 on imac and it is great .No more dreaded out of memory notices etc . SO am looking forward to 64 bit SL cus even sl2 is a bit of a dog on its last legs in terms speed |
