Subject:Trying to mix a multi-track project

I am a magician and I am trying to put together a track to perform against. It uses voice, sound effects and music. What I am having problems with, is when I import different songs or sound effects it changes ones that have already been added. Either speeding them up or slowing them down. I think it has something to do with the beat mapper and the bpm. Can you import these files without affecting them in one mix? Thanks in advance for any help provided.

Import them all as "one shot" and any tempo effects should be completely ignored. Each clip should play at it's original speed.
