Hi, I just downloaded acid music 9 and there is no loop folder or content. the promo says I get 3ooo loops and a code for a free loop cd. how do I get this content? Thanks |

I ordered Music Studio 9 through Amazon and amazon gave me a code to redeem my free loop. Where do i redeem this through Sony's website? I tried to go through their store but they are not accepting the code Amazon gave me. Any help is greatly appreciated. |

You should probably contact Sony Creative Software's customer service or sales departments. Most of the people reading the forums are ordinary users just like you and are unlikely to have any answers for your problem. |

Yeah - tried that - no reply to my email(s) . had to look the address up with google - go to the sony support page:- http://www.sony.co.uk/support/en/contacts and try clicking the "contact us" or "get in touch" links and see what happens - (it returns you to the same page) - a dead end, - they don`t make it easy to get in touch with them. this forum was my last hope , but seeing the above post (and your answer), tells me I`m not going to get anywhere. The web page quoted in the documentation with the software , does not exist (404ing) - it was either never there or has been taken down. and the code given in the same documentation is rejected by sony`s system on the pages I can see surfing manually. Not at all impressed. If I had some way of getting my money back , I would use it, - out of principle, - that sample pack is supposed to be part of my purchase, -i.e. - I`ve paid for it, - it`s like buying a car then finding only two road wheels on it.. And BTW - they read the forum, - of course they do.- If I posted asking to buy a copy of vegas Pro, they`d be on me like a rash.... Now that i read this again, i see this statement: "amazon gave me a code to redeem my free loop". Maybe you should be contacting Amazon. It might be an offer they made, rather than Sony. Sony might not know anything about it. Several other vendors have been known to do similar things over the years. |

I had no issues, other than it took awhile to find the right link: www.sonycreativesoftware.com/loopdownload The code from Amazon worked fine. |

Oh, the original extras were in the extraction folder. They were compressed zip archives that simply needed extracting, with two .exe files to install the extra VST's included--it wasn't automatic. |
