It's slow and jerky, uses a lot of CPU and memory. It freezes at least once per hour. It takes forever to open. By updating, I've taken a program that worked and replaced it with one that doesn't. I have a project open and pushed the space at the bottom to make it jump forward a screen, then I counted until it actually followed the command and it was 26 seconds.


I have an AMD phenom II X6 1055 processor at 2.81 ghz and 8 gigs of RAM. Windows 8 64-bit

Am I the only poor soul on earth having this problem. It's taking a one hour job and turning it into a two day job.

I have SF10 and am having an issue recently where processing slows to a crawl at 99%. I have a suspicion in my case that my Seagate Hybrid Drive might be the culprit.

Have you tried reinstalling it.
I haven't experienced or heard of the issues your having w/ SF-11.
FWIW, older or different versions of SF can co-exist on the same PC w/o issues, so there's no need to uninstall an earlier version prior to a 'new' install.

Thank you for responding. No, I haven't tried uninstalling. I'll try that. Now I'm having another ace problem, but I'll give it its own topic.
