The last reliable Delta MME driver for a lot
of people is the .27 version. It may be worth a try,
just changing the drivers may solve your problem.

search "delta" and read about all the wonderful problems that everyone is having with their delta drivers...I was about to buy a Delta 1010 and I remembered reading something about that card here on the forum...so I did a search, and thank god I did cause it changed my mind in a second...I opted for the Layla24 instead...I installed it and it's running beautifully in Windows 2000 Pro with WDM drivers...

What problems, there are only solutions. I have a Delta
66 with the latest WDM(5.12.1.26) drivers and WinXP and I am getting superb performance out it. I can seamlessly switch between SONAR, ACID 3.0, SF 5.0 & Vegas Video 3.0, all @ 24/44 with no popping/crackling in the audio. While in SONAR, I can get as low as (1
msec) effective latency @24/96 with no dropouts/crackling in the audio when playing DXi/VSTi
softsynths/samplers in realtime. Now that, is stellar performance. I am sure, not every single Echo customer has had a totally positive experience either. Like I said, do try the .27 MME driver. I have a dual boot WinME/XP DAW, I am using the .27 MME drivers with WinME and the .26 multi-client WDM drivers with XP. From a performance and stability standpoint, an XP(W2K)/WDM system is far superior to a WinME/MME system.

You might want to upgrade to driver ver 4.1.22.41. If that doesnt do it try to increase your buffer in your Delta config screen.
