Subject:CD burning/ripping...acd file help

Whenever I burn my acid directories (samples and acd files) to a cd and then rip them to my hardrive, the files won't open. I already changed the files to not be "read only" after they come off the cd, so that's not the problem. Also, if it could not load the samples, it would just ask me to locate them, so that's not it. It says the file could not be opened. If I save it as embedded audio (acd-zip), it works fine, but I am curious why these acd files cannot be opened when burned to cd or what I'm doing wrong. Happy New Years yall!!!!!!
Peace,
Rich

Hello,

Why don't you just render them to the hard drive instead of going to the CD first then to the hard drive. Your losing some sound quality everytime you rerender. Just create a folder to use and brouse to that folder from the Acid "Render As" dialog found in the "File" menue at the top.

Then you can burn them to the CD as well when your done rendering to the hard drive.

See ya, Rockit
