Subject:Noise Reduction Plug Ins not visible.

I have (re) installed S/F 6.0 and Noise Reduction 2.0 after a hard drive crash. The problem is that the NR plug ins are not visible in SF. They do not show up at all under the DX menu. I have tried re installing, I got a .REG patch file from SONY download site (auto mod the Registry) everything seems to be there, but the plugins don't show up.
How do I tell SF that there are NR 2.0 plugins it should be accessing.

How you tried installing NR-2.0 by itself? As I recall, the NR install file was not part of the main SF-6 program and must be installed separately.

Yes. I installed SF first from the CD.
Then I installed NR from its own CD.
NR is installed, I can see files under Program files, and there are entries inthe Registry for it. But SF cant see it.
I was wondering if I need to install NR in the SF directory tree. At the momment, SF is installed under
C:\Program Files\Sonic Foundry
and NR is installed under
C:\Program Files\Sony

Try looking in "FX Favorites> Organize> DirectX". If visible, it can be dragged to your FX Favorites.
Is it under the "Tools" menu.
What version of SF are you using? .. The Sonic Foundry era was a loooong time ago.

Why is Sony Noise Reduction installed to C:\Program Files\Sonic Foundry?
It should be installed under C:\Program Files\Sony
