When recording, SF11 is adding reverb to the audio signal. It seems the louder the audio input, the greater the reverb effect. When I stop the recording process (while the source audio continues), the reverb goes away. The source audio is simply the 'stereo mix' coming from a youtube song---nothing complicated. SF Audio Studio takes the same signal and still works fine. I have had earlier versions of SF, plus I still have SF Audio Studio----this has never happened before.

I reinstalled the program---the problem is still there.

Sounds llike you are recording via 2 separate 'inputs'. Try turning of "What You Hear" or similar in your soundcard mixer applet (on the taskbar System Tray), or muting any alternative recording source fader.

Problem solved! Thank you!

SF 11 added a fader for itself in the volume mixer. That surprises me. SF Audio Studio, which I still have, doesn't do that.

Again, I thank you...
