Subject:EULA agreement? Every time I open SF 11?

It seems that every time I start Sound Forge 11 it asks me to agree to the EULA. Uh...really?! Then it seems to run OK.

Anyone know what's going on?

Hi Doug,

This is a possible side effect of an install issue that some folks are seeing. If you follow the instructions in the link below, you should be able to clear this up.

https://www.custcenter.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5148

1. Download the attached .zip file and extract the folder within to the Desktop.

2. Right-click the following file within the folder: 'run_as_admin.bat'

3. Choose Run as administrator.

4. Click Yes.

5. Uninstall Sound Forge Pro 11.

6. Re-install Sound Forge Pro 11.

7. Re-enter your serial number.

Thanks,
Dave

Support told me to go to the directory and just delete the EULA file. It worked.

As part of the above problem ie EULA agreement showing, I tried to uninstall SF11.0 before reinstalling it. It wouldn't uninstall. Said a dll was missing. So I used an uninstall prog to complete the task. Now when I try to reinstall it won't let me as it says it is already installed. It isn't. There must be some fragment of SF11.0 that is stopping this happening.

Any ideas? Wished i'd seen this forum before I tried anything.

Problem solved due to the marvel that is Revo Uninstaller! Found the left behind bits of SF11.0 and removed them. Reinstalled and working.

I just changed the file name "eula" to "peula" That worked also.
