"Sony VST Server has stopped working" -Sound Forge - PC

Subject:"Sony VST Server has stopped working" Posted by: seanmccoy Date:8/5/2013 1:37:59 PM Installed Speakerphone 2 over the weekend, and now when I open SF 10 in Windows 8 64-bit, I repeatedly get this error during startup. Not only Speakerphone not recognized by SF, but now none of my Waves Platinum 9.2 plugs are seen either. I've verified that all the pertinent files are still there, and the search paths in SF Preferences are intact. Any ideas about whassup? Update: Removed the Speakerphone .dll from the VST plugins folder and the error went away. For whatever reason, the Waves path had been altered. Re-pathing it brought back my Waves plugs as well (though I have to re-organize all my favorites again.). I'll have a little chat with AudioEase.
