Subject:Several Problems in 11 Posted by: sophocles Date:8/3/2013 5:27:07 PM CTI - on playback, it seems as if it now scrolls off the screen and the waveform stops scrolling - maybe this is a setting somewhere I've forgotten about? Volume envelope and plugin chainer - several functions seem to be missing. Bypass is there, but the one that I'm really missing is the Process Selection. Other stuff seems to be missing too tho (Pre-roll, post-roll...).

Plug-in processing is modeless now; it's not processed until the file is saved. Oddly, there are some discrepancies when it comes to the Plug-In Chain window. The online help refers to pre-roll and post-roll buttons in the Plug-In Chain but those buttons don't exist...unless I'm missing something? Otherwise, if you're looking to process just a selection, simply load an effect, process or plug-in chain (via FX Favorites > Apply Plug-In Chain). Right-click the dialog window to toggle pre-/post-roll. Set pre-/post-roll under Options > Preferences > Previews. It's all modeless so you can set the selection as you like without closing the dialog. If you're looking to automate, the Plug-In Chain window will be your go-to.

Sonic Foundry needs to bring the Process Selection button back to the new Plug-In Chain Window or provide the equivalent
