uhhh, is it possible that SF XP / CD Architect will not be supporting faster IDE burners?

Hello,

Is the CD burner on a PCI IDE ata 100 expander card?
Or you could try running the propgram in compatibility mode for Win 98 by right clicking the program shortcut and selecting compatibility then check the box for running programs in different compatibility modes, Because I'm not sure if XP 4.5 is supported under Win XP.

See ya, Rockit

Hi Rockit,

Interesting tip on the PCI card. I don't have the drive on a ATA card but I will check the current hardware configuration.

I'm not running on WindowsXP, I'm using Sonic Foundry CD Architect which also ships with Sound Forge XP.

Let me know if you have any other ideas. I've also sent Technical Support an email on this one.

thanks,
Charlie
