AVCHD DVD's Won't Play in Panasonic Player

My Panasonic DMP-BD45 Blu-Ray player will play AVCHD DVD's created with other software but not Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 12 nor DVD Architect Studio 5.0. I'm using the most current builds of both, and updated the firmware of the Panasonic today. The Blu-Ray player says the disks created with the Sony software are incompatible.

I don't have a Blu-Ray burner in my PC so I only have the option of creating ISO images from either software. I burn the ISO to a DVD with Nero 8 or ImgBurn.

Both BDtoAVCHD and AVCHDCoder produce ISO's which, when burned with Nero or ImgBurn, play just fine on the Panasonic.

Looking forward to some helpful advice and direction. Thanks.

As for DVDAS 5.0, the Disc Format BD and Target Size 4.7 GB option was dropped after build 128.

That's disappointing. And while the 4.7 GB option for BD disks may have been dropped from the project properties, it's still available by right-clicking in the disk space usage area in the bottom right corner of the DVD5AS window. It wasn't hard to get Movie Studio 12 to write out the image for a DVD, either.

Sony should be more thorough in removing these options, not to mention the instructions in the help file which are quite detailed.

I've been experimenting more with BDtoAVCHD and AVCHDCoder in the meantime. Neither one can open the BDMV file structure output by DVD5AS. One of them tells me it can't find the playlist.
