And they have not been at all pleased with the fact that 5.0 no longer supports CD Architect. A major advantage that I see with 5.0 is being able to hear effects processing in real time. That makes a major difference to me. 5.0 has it but 4.0 does not. Finally, the ability to use 24 bit processing vs. 16 bit has to be considered a plus as well for 5.0. However, if you do a search of this forum you'll find folks who were hardly impressed with 5.0 after having used prior versions. Ultimately, it's a personal choice. Some minor stuff too: Batch converter can no longe be accessed from within Sound Forge; it's a totally stand alone program now. No real big deal; but it was more convenient before, IMHO. sk
