Subject:Sound Forge 10 - How Do I Re-Install?

I Need To Uninstall and Reinstall the Software. I ran into a little nitch when I installed my old and trusty Sonic Stage for some program I was using to allow Media Decoding with it for Audio.

It seemed to interfere with all of the Plugins... the Master Bundle Plugins... and make them sorta... bleep, even though I have entered the authentication code for them before and after this happening. The strangest thing about it is, the bleeping didn't start until after I installed Sonic Stage and restarted the computer. I wonder if that's the same issue I had on my previous computer?

Anyway, now I'm stuck because you didn't supply an uninstall program in the disc or on the Program files, and I am running Windows 8 pro.

It urks me that last time when I ran the control panels' add and remove programs, it didn't completely remove the program and thus I couldn't install Sound Forge at all.

What happened to your brilliant mind? Do you want us to have the program permanently, and if it's messed up by accident, then it's all over? I have clients waiting for their remixed music and they are getting impatient because of a program conflict that cannot be fixed. Please, if you can guide me through the complete and successful uninstallation process that none of the guides seem to cover, I'd be very happy.

Thank You.

Normally I always use the of 'Revo Uninstaller' ( free version) which also removes former registry entries and other 'garbage' left behind by the OS / program uninstaller.
The SF / iZotope mastering suite plugins will only work w/ SF and other current SCS applications.

Not at all familiar with Sonic Stage.

"...you didn't supply and un-install program ..." Who do you think you are talking to ? This is a users forum. And getting all petualant after installing something else which appears to have stuffed things up doesn't exactly make us users particularly keen to help you out of your predicament.

Most of us have no problem un-installing/reinstalling from Control Panel (which is the offical valid Win method !). Whatever remnants are removable using many of the available 'cleaner' apps, but don't actually cause most of us any problems.

But anyway - stating exactly what problems you are having un/re-intsalling might be a more proactive approach...

geoff

Furthermore,
now I'm stuck because you didn't supply an uninstall program
-- "You"---- Us 'users' in this forum have very little to do with the actual design of SF, nor did SCS (Sony Creative Software) omit the uninstall 'utility'. The usual Windows uninstall procedure will uninstall SF just like any other application.

(but not as thoroughly as I previously stated using Revo.. but that applies to any application
