Subject:Looping a peace of music

I am triing to loop a peace of song that i have cut from the original tune. I thik i have alle the procedure right.Pleas correct me if i am wrong.

1.I open the song
2.I cut and paste in a new file the peace to loop
3.I select the new sample,click special then click edit sample
4.In the Sample type, I select Sustaing
5.IT DEOS NOT WORK!

PLEASE HELP.

Hello pracine,

all you did was right (did you also chose "infinite looping"?). I think your mistake is to press "play normal" - "play normal" will only play your selection. Try to take "play looped" (this will always play your selection looped) or "play as sample or cutlist", which will play your actual loop you have defined before.
