You can afford it?

I'm ordering two. I may never have to close a program again, I'll just leave them all open on the desktop.

Actually it is not funny: one could mount a 4K monitor at some 46"-50" slightly immersed in the desk.
The pixel size would be about right.

Maybe even one of the coming curved oled-monitors...

Really hope that somebody will make small (46"-50" monitors - and not only the huge ones.

What's the equivalent of "Monitor Envy"?

NO! PLEASE NO! Probably uses a whole new complicated color space, levels. what we really need is a sharper paper punch so we can file all those old DVD’s.

nah.... I'm holding out for the 8K, or maybe even the 16K version

I'll wait for the variable chromatic quantum flux displays.

wwjd said: not a monitor, but could be handy

The Seiki 50" has HDMI, VGA, Component, & Composite in... so it could work as a Monitor. The price is still too steep for me as I'm usually 1 or 2 cool gadgets behind all the cool kids.
