Hitfilm Mac / Great opportunity to grab PC license

Several weeks ago, FXHome have launched a KickStarter to fund the porting of HitFilm 2 to Mac and they have reached their goal.

If you are willing to hold on till November, the estimated delivery date for Hitfilm Mac, you will also get the PC version and you will be allowed to install it on up to 3 computers if you pledge the amount of £ 165 or more (approx. $250US).

The funding ends on June 7th and they also announced stretched goals, adding to the offer.

I'm interested, but why give the pc version in November if we pledge today?

I don't know why, I didn't bother asking over at their Kickstarter webpage nor did I see anything about it.

I figured the deal is good enough for me, PC & Mac along with Mocha planar tracking.
I also tried the PC demo with Vegas integration and it is really great. I was also surprised by their chromakeyer. I have the BCC 8 keyer which is outstanding but I managed to get even better keying with Hitfilm. Still need to experiment, but it did convince me.

Hitfilm has a lot to offer keeping me away from an Adobe CC subscription

Excellent call-out! This is probably the best price that a current Vegas Pro 12 owner can get on HitFilm 2.
