I saw the sale on this called Sony "Imagination Studio 4 Bundle". It includes Movie Studio, Audio Studio, and Music Studio. http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/audiostudio I was thinking about it for maybe an upgrade to my Sound Forge 5 XP (sortof an old "lite" version of Sound Forge I got when I bought Acid v3.0 many years ago). I also am starting to do some multimedia stuff, and Windows Movie Maker has its limitations - was thinking Movie Studio might be decent upgrade there. I'm assuming Music Studio is a "lite" version of Acid Pro 7 which I have. Anyhow, anybody used any of these - opinions ? especially on the Audio Studio / Movie Studio apps. From what I can tell from feature list Audio Studio would be not usable for any type of mastering which is what I'm really looking into right now. In your case, it would be worth it alone just for Vegas Movie Studio and Sound Forge Studio. Sound Forge Studio is leaps and bounds ahead of Sound Forge 5 XP even if it doesn't have all the tools that Sound Forge Pro has. You can certainly create/sweeten something great with it. Vegas Movie Studio blows Movie Maker out of the water. |

I've been using Movie Studio for about 9 years and am on the current version, Movie Studio Platinum 12. I am using both 32-bit and 64-bit versions. It's a great piece of software for making videos. Many of Acid Music Studio 8 features seem to be part of the audio section of Movie Studio. Mike |
