Subject:Wave Hammer?

I have Acid Pro 7 and have been reading up on compression and have seen a few posts recommending the Wave Hammer plugin for final mastering-type loudness/limiting purposes. I guess I never noticed this before because plug kept making beeping noises I guess I never tried it - but after seeing this post I notice what I have is the Demo mode

I guess question is: Should I only have demo version of Wave Hammer? I notice a comment to install a trial version of Sound Forge to fix it

https://www.custcenter.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1156/~/wave-hammer-making-beeping-sounds-in-sound-forge

but I can't afford new Sound Forge and just have Sound Forge XP Studio 5.0 that I'm becoming comfortable with and is pretty useful for what I do right now, and I'm afraid I'll screw up some functionality I need and have if I install a trial version of Sound Forge.

If I just don't have Wave Hammer that's cool - but several posts on web sound like alot of folks have problems w/ demo mode kicking in when it shouldn't and I was wanting to post here to see if others have Wave Hammer with Acid Pro 7?

thanks,

I don't remember Wave Hammer coming with ACID Pro 7. I do know that there's a compressor/limiter that's in the iZotope "pro effects" rack that comes with ACID Pro 7. (Click on My Account > My Software and then the Download link next to your registration of ACID Pro 7. It should be there to download if you don't have it already, along with a manual.)

Thanks Iacobus. my account page only shows Acid Pro 7, but I wonder if I just haven't registered everything I have on the website. I'll pull out the Acid Pro 7 box and see if there was some other stuff I should've installed with it maybe?

I do get frustrated with all the various separate installs/registrations I have to keep track of w/ audio stuff - and sometimes I just throw up my arms.
