I have a beefy machine. Windows 8, 3.5GHz i7 with 4 cores and 16Gb of ram, ssd disk etc. But when I use the clone tool it takes about 4 second to clone a piece of spectrum the size of the brush. If I draw a short line it easily takes a minute to clone that line of about 2-4 seconds of audio. I am following the spectralayers seminar that i downloaded, and there the cloning takes place in realtime. The CPU usage is a flat 25% while cloning. Meaning that it uses 1 core 100%. Is this a known bug? |

I have the same issue. When cloning the machine appears to freeze, and then resumes anything up to 30 seconds later, sometimes longer. I've tried on two machines so far, with the same result. Will try on a third later. I've now tried on a third machine, i3 quad core with 16gbs memory, same result. I'll write to support and see what they suggest.
