mp3 plug-in "grace period expired" -Sound Forge - PC

When I tried to save a file in .mp3 format, I got a dialog to enter the registration information for the mp3 plug-in. I entered the plug-in serial number which came with the software, and got a message saying "Your grace period for this serial number has expired". I've emailed tech support and hope that they'll be able to resolve the problem, but I have to wait until after Christmas, so I thought I'd see if anyone here can help. Thanks, Maxine
