http://pro.sony.com/bbsc/ssr/mkt-nab2013/mkt-nab2013software/ SONY'S nab 2013 page has the current line up of products but does not sell Acid Pro on its page. It has a picture of it in the header but it is not for sale on their pro page. A sign of either the death of the platform or something new to come... |

Not the NAB page, but from their Professional site: http://pro.sony.com/bbsc/ssr/cat-creativesoftware/cat-acidmusiccreation/ Also, I note that on the NAB page header, Acid Pro is named, between Sound Forge and Vegas. Maybe they don't explicity show Acid Pro 8 in the NAB page lineup, for fear of causing multiple coronaries among the users of this forum. Give them credit for caring about your health. They still have it here, though. Maybe they're getting ready for something? It's not like they're just going to drop the ACID brand just like that. |
