Subject:Effect over time

Just wondering if it is possible to apply an effect over time on an event in ACID Music Studio. The effects seem to be set for the entire track or event (eg. ACID FX) with just checkboxes to turn things on or off. Some Presets are there that adjust themselves per measure/beat but is there any way to apply an effect in varying intensity over the course of an event? Perhaps even adjusting some sort of envelope (there is only Volume and Pan envelopes seen).

Look up "automation' in Help or Manual.
