You can't go wrong with the Audio-Technica AT2020 USB Condenser USB Microphone. IMHO, it will give you the best quality for the price. I have the non-USB version (AT2020) and it sounds almost as good as my AT4033CL which costs $399! It's a really nice mic.

The Samson C01 is pretty much the industry standard podcasting mic. Reasonable price and excellent performance.
I use it for my radio show and video voiceover work.
