Subject:Waves Element not loading in Acid Pro or Studio

Waves Element is not loading in Acid Pro 7 or Music Studio 9. Any ideas why ?

Ive read of Cubase users having problems with other Waves plugins although in Ai6 the Element loads fine.

No problems with the standalone.

Fix- I used shell2vst. Discussed here... http://forum.cakewalk.com/tm.aspx?m=1719552&mpage=1&print=true

So far (now that I can load it) I like the synth. Still at 99.00 so seems an ok price for what you get. The installation and licensing were no problem

I should add that the free One Knob Louder that Waves released for free a few months back has worked fine in Acid Pro and Studio without modification.

You should contact WAVES support directly. The plugin cache in ACID probably needs to be modified / updated, and they will send you step by step instructions on how to do that. Whenever I've installed Waves plugins, that is the fix. Just another outdated issue with ACID...
