Subject:ARIA for ACID Pro not found with Win7

I recently had to buy a new computer when my Windows XP died, but before that I had ACID 7.0 installed and it worked without a problem. Post-XP, I had a fairly powerful pc built and installed all my software - with no problems. However, when I tried opening some ACID documents previously saved, if I had used a MIDI track with the Garritan ARIA player, I got an error message that it could not be found. Sure enough, it is not showing up anywhere, not in my Plug-in Manager or the SoftSynth list for MIDI output devices. It installed in the folder "vstplugins", in a sub-folder "Garritan" - but neither ACID Pro or Abelton Live will find it as they both did with the XP. This is just yet another glitch I've experienced going form XP to Win7 - but this one is a somewhat big problem since I use the Aria player sounds more than the other plug-ins. |

That's odd; ACID should drill down subfolders within a specified folder. Assuming it hasn't shown up in the "failed" folder, did you try moving the DLL to the root folder? |

I thought if that but haven't tried it yet, but will and report back. Thanks. |

Mine is in the Plugin folder under Vendor. Works fine. |

Fixed. For some reason during installation the .dll file was placed in the vstplugin folder from the main root directory instead of the vstplugin folder under ACID. I copied the .dll file and pasted it in the folder with the other plugins and all is well. :) Thanks. |
