I ususally just do video but my son wants to record into Vegas using a Casio digital keyboard (PX-400R). There are connections for USB and also a L/R audio out. I tried connecting the USB but I'm not sure I have the options set up correctly and I don't see the keyboard listed for Vegas recording devices. I then tried the L/R audio out from the keyboard to the Line In on the computer sound card (ASUS Xonar Essence STX). I'm using a dual 1/4" to a 1/8" stereo cable. I chose the settings for my sound card as Line In. I then went into the Vegas options and chose ASUS Line In for the recording device. I can't get Vegas correctly setup to record the keyboard. Please Help!
