I was considering purchasing this microphone for creating CDs from my laptop with Sound Forge Pro 10. I would be glad to hear anyone's experience with this mic or any other that worked well for them. Thanks, Michelle |

It looks nice, it's an OK mic, and it's overhyped. For $120, go ahead. For twice that, you can get a Rode nt1a (XLR) or Rode Podcaster (USB), which you'll never replace. Just my opinion, of course. Message last edited on3/8/2013 9:31:44 PM bymusicvid10. |

It's in the print (hard copy) edition, I can't find any reviews and such on EM beyond Feb. 28, I'll keep checking and update. |

A blog I read says that review is very uncritical of any of the mics, which is too bad. If you like the Blue branding, and that is important to some people, there is a "Pro" USB model that is probably on a par soundwise and pricewise with the Rode. Best of luck. |

IMO Blues are are a bit like Macs - more of a fashion statement. I second the RODEs, and add AT-2020D as a USB option. geoff |
