Subject:Keep metadata when extracting regions?

I am testing a workflow based around the "save regions as files" script.

However, this script does not save any metadata into the files that it creates.

I tried adding "| DefaultMetadata" after "RenderOptions.RenderOnly", but this appeared to have no effect.

It is critical for me to be able to save marker data into the exported regions. Is that possible?
