I have a file that I am trying to save so I can use it as a loop within Vegas. When I save it, it adds a small blank section to both the beginning and the end of the file. That means when I try to loop it, I have a hiccup in the loop for a brief moment. Is there a setting I need to tweak to tell Sound Forge to not add those sections? |

1. Don't save a loop as mp3. 2. Make your cuts at zero crossings |

Has nothing to do directly with SF. AFAIK all MP3 encoders inherently put about a frame of silent space at the head (and tail) of the file.. therefor useless for loops. |

There are a a couple of utilities that claim to remove the gaps from MP3s. But why bother? Loops are small to begin with, and no one will notice on music files. |
