Hi, There is an interesting drum beat on a track I've extracted from a CD. The drum beat itself lasts about 10 seconds I 'd like to make a repeating loop of it that lasts 3 minutes. How do I go about doing this? I have Acid Music Studio 8 and am using the Lexicon Omega desktop recording unit. Cheers. Message last edited on3/7/2013 2:31:20 AM bygaia. |

Depending on what you plan on doing with this other than extending it for some length this would end up being illegal if you plan on making money or even distributing it to some 'friends' for free. Jack |

There a few ways of doing this. Is the drum portion in the middle? Use the Chopper to find and insert it onto the timeline. You're then free to copy and paste (or paste repeat) as often as necessary. Echoing what Jack said: Be very careful when it comes to any copyrighted material. |

Hi, I'm learning drums, have a Yamaha DT Explorer electronic kit, as well as pedal steel guitar, virtual synths and various 6 string electric guitars. Just want to isolate the drum pattern and learn it by playing along with it and then probable add my own variation into it. Private educational use. Did ask you in an earlier post about muted sound.. Finding my way around Acid Music Studio is quite complicated I hope I can get back to you to clarify what I don't understand? Seems great software but to me quite a learning curve. Cheers.
