Is their any way in SF10 PC to shuttle with a pitch correction. What I'm doing is listening down a show looking for things that might not edited correctly. I generally listen to the show at 1.5x or faster and stop to make edits and then continue. VLC and a few other player can play faster with pitch correction. I do not want to change the pitch/time of the actual audio, just when I scrub or listen at faster then 1.0x speed. Thanks Sandy |

Here's one way: 1. Add 'elastique Timestretch' plug in - adjust speed to suit (don't select 'synchronize pitch' option) - leave the plugin window open so you can change speeds easily = use the Ratio slider; use Bypass to get normal speed. 2. listen; correct edits as necessary... 3. remove the plugin. At the bottom of the track window there is a horizontal slider next to the transport controls. Sliding this with a mouse click affects the play rate, but you have to keep holding the mouse button down. Use your mouse wheel while hovering over the slider to adjust it and hold it at a different rate. Wait, I re-read your post. You want it to play at a faster rate but not have the pitch change. Unfortunately, going the plug-in route and then just disabling the plug-in might be your only option. Rob. Message last edited on2/18/2013 5:26:15 PM byroblesinge. |

The elastic time plug in almost worked, but it gets confused when you click back in the timeline to edit it doesn't always go back to correct time location. It was odd how it worked with the correct time when trying to edit. Feature Request I'm guessing! |
